Adjust Shader Intensity and Visual Effects
Access Shader Settings
Open your in-game options menu and look for the Shaders or Graphics settings panel. PureCraft Shaders provides toggles and sliders to customize how strong the visual effects appear in your world.
Fine-Tune Individual Features
You can control:
- Lighting intensity: Adjust how bright or soft shadows and highlights appear on blocks and terrain
- Cloud appearance: Toggle between the enhanced white clouds or revert to vanilla clouds
- Weather effects: Dial down rain intensity or disable the enhanced rain rendering if it impacts performance
- Bloom and glow: Reduce or increase how much light sources like lava and torches bloom outward
- Antialiasing strength: Lower the edge-smoothing effect if you prefer sharper, more blocky visuals
Performance vs. Quality
If your framerate drops, reduce lighting quality or disable camera focus blur first—these have the biggest performance impact. On weaker computers, disable bloom effects while keeping cloud and sky enhancements enabled for a good balance between beauty and speed.
Test changes in different biomes and times of day to see which settings work best for your playstyle.
