How Punchy Mod Changes First-Person Animations

Smoother First-Person Motion

Punchy Mod is a client-side visual mod that reworks how your own hands and held items move in first person. In vanilla Minecraft, actions like swinging a tool, breaking a block, attacking, and interacting all use short, stiff animations. Punchy Mod replaces and blends these so the motion flows together instead of snapping between poses.

Because it only touches animation and rendering, it does not change gameplay. Block breaking speed, attack damage, reach, and tool behavior stay exactly as they are in the base game. You are only changing what you see on screen.

This makes it useful for players who find the default first-person feel jerky, especially during fast mining or combat. It also pairs well with other visual mods, since it targets the same hand and item rendering layer rather than world content.

If you dislike the new motion, the mod can be removed at any time with no effect on your world or saves.
