Troubleshoot Armor Trims Not Glowing

Verify Your Lighting Mode Is Active

Open your config menu with your bound key. Check that you've selected either "Pulse" or "Glow"—if "Off" is selected, no trim lighting will display. Switch to your preferred mode and confirm the change takes effect.

Confirm You're Using Armor with Trims

Pulse Trims Mod only affects armor that has trim decorations applied. Ensure your equipped armor pieces actually have trims attached. Trims are the decorative patterns added to armor through the smithing table in base Minecraft. Plain armor without trims won't show any pulsing effects.

Check Compatibility and Lighting Conditions

The mod works with standard armor trims and supports many popular trim additions. However, extremely dark environments or certain shader configurations might make glowing effects harder to see. Try moving to a brighter area or adjusting your glow appearance settings (tint, color boost, light reaction) to make the effect more visible.

If effects still don't appear after these checks, verify your config key is properly bound and try reopening the menu.
