Set Up Your First Pulsing Armor Trim

Bind the Config Key

Before you can customize your armor trims, you need to set up a keybind. Open your game controls settings and search for "Open Config" in the Pulse Trims Mod section. Assign a key you're comfortable with—this is your gateway to all customization options.

Access the Main Menu

Press your newly bound key while in-game. The main menu will appear with three lighting mode options:

  • Pulse: Creates a rhythmic, pulsing glow effect on your armor trims
  • Glow: Provides a steady, constant light without pulsing
  • Off: Disables all trim lighting effects

Select your preferred mode. If you want immediate visual results, choose Pulse or Glow.

Pick a Ready-Made Style

Click the style menu to browse five pre-configured patterns. These styles are already optimized and ready to use—no tweaking required. Simply select one that appeals to you, and your armor trims will instantly update with that lighting effect.

You can switch between modes and styles anytime by reopening the config menu with your bound key.
