How Attributes Work in Pufferfish's Attributes Mod
Dynamic Attributes Explained
Pufferfish's Attributes Mod adds new attributes that change how your character's values are calculated during gameplay. Unlike vanilla attributes, which often apply a fixed bonus, these attributes modify dynamic values — numbers that are recalculated as you play.
A clear example is damage dealt when attacking with a weapon. Instead of only adding a flat amount, some attributes can adjust that damage through addition or multiplication. This means the same attribute can behave differently depending on your weapon, your other gear, and the situation.
Because these attributes work on dynamic values, they interact with each other and with vanilla systems in ways that static bonuses cannot. The result is deeper customization: you can fine-tune how your character performs rather than simply stacking fixed numbers.
To use them, look for the new attributes wherever attributes are normally viewed or applied. Experiment with combinations to see how each one changes your output, then build around the effects you want.
