Create Puddles from Potion Splashes and Broken Cauldrons
Use Splash Potions
Throw any splash potion onto the ground during or after rain. Where the potion lands, a small
puddle will form and persist. This works for any splash potion type, giving you control over where puddles appear. Combine multiple potion throws to create clusters of wet spots in specific locations.
Break Full Cauldrons Strategically
Place cauldrons filled with water in areas where you want puddles. When you break a full cauldron, it spills water onto the floor below, creating a wet spot. This is useful for creating puddles in sheltered areas where rain wouldn't normally reach, like inside buildings or under thick tree canopies.
Combine for Artistic Effect
Use both methods together to design custom puddle patterns. Break cauldrons in a line to create a "water trail," or throw splash potions around a structure to make it look recently rained on. These manual methods work independently of weather, so you can create puddles anytime.
Experiment with Placement
Try different potion types and cauldron locations to see which visual effects you prefer. The puddles persist and add atmosphere to your builds.
