Control Where Puddles Spawn Around Your Base

Access the Settings Menu

Open the Puddles and Floods configuration by typing /puddleflood in chat. This command opens a menu where you can adjust how the mod behaves in your world.

Adjust Spawn Distance

Locate the spawn distance setting in the menu. This controls how far from your position puddles will generate during rain. Increasing this value means puddles form across a wider area; decreasing it keeps them closer to you. If you want to keep your base area dry, reduce this value significantly.

Fine-Tune Coverage Amount

Find the water coverage slider. This setting determines what percentage of the ground gets covered by puddles when it rains. Lower values mean fewer, smaller puddles; higher values create more extensive wet spots. Adjust this based on your preference for how "flooded" the world should look during storms.

Save and Test

You can adjust these settings multiple times until you find the balance that works for your gameplay style and base aesthetics.
