Enabling Fresh Animations with Programmer Art Textures

Verify Both Packs Are Active

Make sure both the Programmer Art x Fresh Animations Resource Pack and Fresh Animations are enabled in your resource pack list. Open your resource packs menu and confirm both appear in the "Selected" column on the right side of the screen.

Set Load Order Correctly

The pack order matters for proper blending. Programmer Art x Fresh Animations should load after (below) the base Fresh Animations pack in your resource pack list. This ensures the Programmer Art textures override Fresh Animations' default textures while preserving the animation data.

Test in-Game

Spawn or find a mob like a Creeper, Zombie, or Pig. Watch their animations—they should move smoothly and expressively while displaying the blocky, retro Programmer Art appearance. If mobs look frozen or use vanilla animations, check your load order again.

Troubleshoot Conflicts

If textures appear corrupted or animations stutter, remove any other texture packs temporarily. Conflicting packs can override the intended visual blend. Once confirmed working, add other packs back one at a time to identify conflicts.
