Customize Sky Colors for Specific Biomes
Locating the Sky Color Files
Private's Skies stores its biome sky configurations in the resource pack's skies folder. Each biome has its own color definition file that controls the sky gradient and atmospheric appearance.
Editing Sky Palettes
1. Extract the resource pack to access its files
2. Navigate to the biome-specific configuration files
3. Locate the color values (typically in hexadecimal or RGB format) that define the sky gradient
4. Modify the primary sky color, horizon color, and any fog tones to your preference
5. Save the file and reload your resource pack in-game
Testing Your Changes
Travel to the biome you modified and observe the sky at different times of day. The changes should be immediately visible. If the colors don't appear, verify the file format matches the original and that you've saved in the correct location. You can create backups of original files before editing to easily revert if needed.
Experiment with complementary colors to maintain the pack's aesthetic while personalizing your experience.
