Combine Prismatic Atmosphere with Shader Packs for Enhanced Visuals
Verify Compatibility
Prismatic Atmosphere is designed to work alongside shader packs without conflicts. Both can run simultaneously—the resource pack handles biome fog and sky colors while shaders add lighting, shadows, and atmospheric effects.
Load Both Packs Correctly
1. Enable Prismatic Atmosphere in your resource packs list
2. Install and enable your chosen shader pack through your shader mod's settings
3. Ensure the resource pack appears above the shader in your load order (resource packs typically load independently of shaders)
4. Launch your world and verify both effects are visible
Optimize Visual Balance
If colors appear oversaturated or washed out, adjust shader settings:
- Reduce fog density in shader options if Prismatic fog feels too thick
- Lower saturation in shader color correction if biome tones clash
- Test different times of day—shaders often change how resource pack colors render at sunrise, noon, and sunset
The combination creates layered atmosphere: Prismatic provides biome-specific color identity while shaders add depth and dynamic lighting. Experiment with different shader presets to find the balance that suits your playstyle.
