Build Structures That Showcase Prisma's Lighting
Designing for Wet Surface Effects
Create buildings with mixed materials to highlight Prisma's wet surface system. Combine stone, wood, glass, and metal blocks in your design. During rain, these materials will reflect light differently, creating visual depth and interest.
Optimal Structure Types
Buildings with large roof overhangs work well—the contrast between protected dry areas and exposed wet surfaces becomes dramatic. Courtyards, open-air markets, and partially covered bridges showcase the shader's rain effects beautifully. Glass structures are particularly striking, as wet glass creates strong reflections.
Cosmic-Themed Builds
For the End dimension, use End stone, purpur blocks, and dark materials that complement the cosmic sky. The glowing effects of the shader enhance End rods and other light sources, making them appear more luminous against the space-themed backdrop.
Lighting Placement
Position light sources strategically to interact with Prisma's stylized lighting system. Torches, lanterns, and glowstone create different atmospheric effects. Experiment with placement to see how the shader renders these light sources in rain and in the End.
