Optimize Nighttime Visibility Without Losing Atmosphere

Locate Night Brightness Controls

Open your shader settings and find the nighttime-specific adjustment section. Prism Hue Zenith separates day and night tuning, so you can adjust each independently.

Increase Moonlight and Ambient Light

Raise the night brightness slider gradually. The goal is to see block details and navigate safely without making the night feel like artificial daylight. Watch how shadows and contrast change as you increase the value.

Balance Shadow Depth

Adjust shadow intensity if available. Stronger shadows maintain atmosphere while adequate ambient light lets you see. This prevents the "washed out" look that happens when brightness is too high.

Test in Different Conditions

Visit caves, forests, and open areas at night to verify visibility. Underground areas should feel dark but navigable; outdoor scenes should retain the night's character. Adjust until you find your comfort zone between safety and immersion.
