Perform a Protected Action Intentionally

Understanding the Keybind System

By default, the activation key is R. When you want to perform an action that Preventer Mod blocks, you must press and hold this key while performing the action.

Steps to Execute a Protected Action

1. Identify the action you want to perform (for example, stripping a log or creating a path block)

2. Hold down the configured keybind (R by default)

3. While holding the key, perform the right-click action with your tool

4. Release the key after the action completes

Customizing Your Keybind

If R is inconvenient for your playstyle, you can change the activation key in the mod's configuration. Choose a key that doesn't conflict with other mods or game functions.

Common Protected Actions Requiring the Keybind

• Stripping logs with an axe
• Creating path blocks with a shovel
• Scraping copper oxidation
• Eating cake
• Editing signs
• Using bone meal on grass blocks
