Customize Footstep Sounds for Different Blocks
Access the Configuration Files
Presence Footsteps stores its sound mappings in configuration files within your game directory. Navigate to .minecraft/config/ and look for the Presence Footsteps folder. Here you'll find JSON or properties files that define which sounds play for each block type.
Edit Block-to-Sound Mappings
Open the relevant configuration file in a text editor. Each block is mapped to a sound identifier. You can change which footstep sound plays when you walk on grass, sand, wood, stone, or any other block by modifying these mappings.
Add Custom Sounds
If you want to use your own audio files, place them in the mod's sounds folder (usually assets/presencefootsteps/sounds/). Then reference the new sound file in your configuration by its path. Make sure audio files are in a compatible format like OGG or WAV.
Reload and Test
Save your changes and reload the game or use /reload if available. Walk on the modified blocks to verify your custom sounds play correctly. If sounds don't trigger, check that file paths in the config match your actual sound file locations.
