Replace a Skin Pack with Custom 5D Characters

Locate Your Host Pack UUID

After downloading your chosen free host pack from the Marketplace, close Minecraft completely. Navigate to your platform's premium_cache directory:

  • Windows 10/11: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\premium_cache\skin_packs\
  • iOS: /var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/<Minecraft UUID>/Library/Application Support/mcpelauncher/games/com.mojang/premium_cache/skin_packs/
  • Android: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/premium_cache/skin_packs/

Inside skin_packs, you'll see a folder named after your host pack's UUID.

Extract and Overwrite

Download your replacer bundle ZIP file and extract it. Copy all files from the extracted folder into the host pack UUID folder. When prompted, confirm that you want to overwrite existing files. Launch Minecraft, open the Dressing Room, find your host pack under the Owned tab, and you'll see the new custom characters in place of the originals.
