Build a Bison Farm and Breeding Enclosure
Setting Up Your Enclosure
Create a fenced area in or near a Meadow biome where you can keep tamed bison together. Use fences or walls at least 2 blocks high to contain them safely. Leave enough space for multiple bison to move around comfortably—at least a 20×20 block area for a small herd.
Breeding Your Bison
Once you have two or more tamed bison in your enclosure, feed them their preferred crops to enter breeding mode. Use grass, wheat, apples, carrots, or sweet berries. After feeding, the bison will breed and produce offspring over time.
Managing Your Herd
Switch your bison to resting mode by interacting with them repeatedly until they settle. This keeps them stationary around your farm and prevents them from wandering away. Resting bison will stay near their location, making them easier to manage and breed.
Keep a supply of crops nearby to heal injured herd members and encourage continued breeding. The more bison you have, the more leather they'll eventually drop when they naturally age or die.
