How to Store and Retrieve Potions from a Cauldron

Filling a Cauldron with Potions

Potion cauldrons let you store up to three bottles of the same potion type in one block. To fill a cauldron:

1. Craft or obtain glass bottles filled with potion

2. Approach a cauldron (empty or containing the same potion type)

3. Right-click the cauldron while holding a potion bottle

4. The potion transfers into the cauldron; the cauldron's appearance changes to match the potion color

Removing Potions from a Cauldron

To extract potions back into bottles:

1. Hold an empty glass bottle

2. Right-click on a potion-filled cauldron

3. One bottle of potion transfers from the cauldron to your inventory

4. Repeat until you've removed the desired amount

Important: A cauldron can only store potions of the same type. If you try to add a different potion, it won't work. Empty the cauldron completely before switching potion types.

This is useful for organizing brewing stations or creating potion storage areas without taking up inventory space.
