Allow Multiple Items to Open the Same Portal

Create Flexible Portal Access

Instead of locking a portal to just one item, you may want to accept multiple different items as valid keys. This gives players options and works well for modpacks with alternative progression paths.

Configuration Steps

1. Access your Portal Restrict Mod configuration file

2. Find the section for the dimension you want to modify

3. Look for a list or array field where you can add multiple items

4. Add each item that should unlock the portal — for example, you might accept both diamonds and emeralds

5. Save and reload your configuration

Verification

Test by approaching the portal with each of the accepted items. You should be able to pass through with any of them. If you hold an item that is not on the list, the portal should block you and display a message.

This approach is especially useful in modpacks where players might have different ways to progress, or where you want to reward exploration by offering multiple valid keys for the same portal.
