Enable Lunar Cycle Tracking

Following Moon Phases

Instead of controlling time directly, you can let PolyTime automatically progress through Minecraft's lunar cycles, creating realistic moon phases that repeat naturally.

Steps

1. Open the PolyTime configuration menu

2. Find the lunar cycle or moon phase option

3. Enable lunar cycle mode

4. Optionally set a starting moon phase if the mod provides this option

5. The mod will now automatically cycle through moon phases over time

How It Works

• The lunar cycle mode progresses through all eight moon phases automatically
• Time still advances normally, but the progression is tied to the moon's visual state
• This mode is independent of manual time control—disable manual mode to use it
• Useful for creating atmospheric worlds or following in-game calendars based on moon phases
