Finding and Hatching Your Pet

Begin by searching for Polpett eggs in buried garden structures found beneath mountains and oceans, or explore the Polpett Meadows biome where eggs spawn naturally. Once you've found an egg, you can speed up hatching by petting it with an empty hand, or craft an Egg Incubator block to warm it much faster. Villagers working near an incubator become Polpett Researchers and can trade you cosmetic hats and rare egg colors.

After your pet hatches, keep it healthy by right-clicking with food to feed it and an empty hand to pet it for happiness. Check your pet's hunger and happiness stats by sneaking and right-clicking. As you care for your companion, it will grow and develop new physical features. Customize its appearance with wool hats, and use a water bucket to scoop it up for easy transport across your world.
