Teach Keldeo Secret Sword and Change Its Form

Keldeo's Form Mechanic

Keldeo has a special form-changing ability tied to learning the move Secret Sword. Once your Keldeo knows this move, it will transform into its Resolute form, gaining new appearance and stat changes that make it more formidable in battle.

Teaching Secret Sword

You'll need to provide Keldeo with Secret Sword through a move tutor, TM, or breeding move. Check your mod's move learning resources to determine the easiest method available. Once Keldeo learns Secret Sword, the form change happens automatically.

Form Benefits

Resolute Keldeo gains improved stats and a different visual design compared to its Ordinary form. This makes it a stronger battler while maintaining its water and fighting-type identity. The transformation is permanent as long as Keldeo knows Secret Sword.

Reverting the Form

If you remove Secret Sword from Keldeo's moveset, it will revert to its Ordinary form. This allows flexibility if you need to teach it other moves or prefer its original appearance. Plan your moveset carefully to balance form benefits with battle coverage.
