Locating Kyogre and Groudon

These powerful legendaries spawn in specific biomes during their preferred weather conditions. Kyogre appears in deep oceans when it's raining, while Groudon inhabits badlands biomes during clear, sunny weather. Search these locations during the correct conditions to encounter them.

Preparation and Catching

Bring plenty of Poké Balls and consider using Pokémon with status moves like Thunder Wave or Spore to weaken them before catching. These legendaries have high catch rates when their health is low and they're afflicted with status conditions.

Once caught, you can transform Groudon into its Primal form by giving it a Nether Star. This dramatically increases its stats and changes its appearance. Keep your legendary safe in your PC or team, as they're valuable for both battles and riding if you have the Cobblemon Rider addon installed.
