How to Load, Reload, and Fire Your Gun
Getting a gun to actually shoot in Point Blank requires understanding the reload and firing flow. Guns do not work like bows — they need magazines loaded with the correct caliber.
Loading and Reloading
First, craft the ammunition that matches your weapon's caliber. Each gun accepts one specific caliber (for example, 5.56mm, 7.62mm, 9mm, 12 Gauge). Hold the gun in your main hand and the matching ammo in your inventory. Press the reload key (check your controls — it is usually a dedicated keybind, not right-click) to load a magazine. The gun will pull rounds from your ammo stack.
Firing
Once loaded, aim with your crosshair and use the attack/use button to fire. Most guns are semi-auto or full-auto depending on the model. Watch your ammo counter — when the magazine empties, you must reload again. Some guns show remaining rounds in the HUD.
Troubleshooting
- If the gun will not fire, you are probably out of ammo or using the wrong caliber.
- If reloading does nothing, make sure the correct ammo type is in your inventory, not in a chest.
- Different guns have different magazine sizes, so do not assume one reload equals a fixed number of shots.
- Attachments like extended magazines (if present in your version) change capacity.
