Master the Charge Jump Sweet Spot
Understanding the Orange Zone
The charge bar displays a visual sweet spot in orange. Releasing your jump keys when the bar fills into this zone grants you maximum height and distance. This is the core mechanic that separates a charged jump from a normal hop.
How to Time It Correctly
1. Hold Shift and Space together after the initial charge delay passes
2. Watch the bar fill from left to right
3. Release both keys the moment the bar enters the orange zone
4. You'll launch upward, clearing obstacles up to 1.5 blocks tall
What Happens if You Miss
If you release too early (before reaching orange), you perform a standard vanilla jump with no boost. If you hold past the orange zone until the bar maxes out, the same result occurs—a normal jump. Practice timing in a safe area first, like a flat field with scattered fences, to develop muscle memory for the sweet spot.
