Hide Specific Armor from Your Hands
Using the Armor Blacklist
If you want certain armor pieces to never appear on your hands in first-person view, you can add them to the mod's blacklist.
Steps
1. Open your mod configuration folder (usually .minecraft/config or your mod manager's config directory)
2. Locate the Plated Palms configuration file
3. Find the Blacklist armor for rendering option
4. Add the item ID of any armor piece you want to hide from hand rendering
5. Save the configuration file
6. Restart your game or reload the mod
What This Does
Armor pieces on your blacklist will no longer display on your hands when equipped, even though they'll still function normally on your character model. This is useful if you have armor textures that look strange on hands, or if you prefer a cleaner first-person view with certain gear.
You can add multiple armor IDs to the blacklist, separated by commas or on new lines depending on your config format. Check your specific mod's documentation for the exact syntax.
