Set Up Player Markers to Show Health and Armor

Enable Player Tracking

Player markers on your map display real-time information about each player, including their current health, armor status, and the direction they're facing (yaw rotation). This helps server administrators and players navigate and monitor activity.

Configuration Steps

1. Open your server's Pl3xMap configuration file (usually in plugins/Pl3xMap/config.yml)

2. Locate the players or markers section

3. Ensure player markers are enabled by setting the appropriate option to true

4. Configure marker update frequency if desired—lower values mean more frequent updates but higher server load

5. Save the file and reload Pl3xMap using the server command /pl3xmap reload

Viewing on the Map

Once enabled, open your map in a web browser. Player markers will appear as icons showing:

  • Player name and current position
  • Health bar (red indicates low health)
  • Armor durability visualization
  • A directional indicator showing which way the player is facing

Markers update automatically as players move and their status changes. You can click on player markers to see additional details if your server has configured extended information display.
