How to Read Your Health, Hunger, and Armor at a Glance with Pixels Simple Hud
Where Each Element Sits
The Pixels Simple Hud pack keeps the standard HUD layout but redraws the icons. Hearts sit above the hotbar on the left, the hunger bar mirrors them on the right, and armor points appear as a row above the hearts when you are wearing armor. Because the icons are cleaner and more uniform, you can judge your status faster during combat or exploration.
Reading the Icons Quickly
Each heart represents a portion of your total health, and empty or darkened hearts show damage taken. The hunger icons on the opposite side fill and deplete the same way, so a quick glance left and right tells you whether you need to eat or heal. Armor icons only appear while armor is equipped, and each icon corresponds to a point of protection — losing icons means your gear is taking durability damage or has broken.
Practical Tips
- Keep an eye on the hunger bar before it empties, since a full hunger bar supports natural health regeneration.
- Watch the armor row during fights; if icons vanish, repair or replace your gear.
- In Hardcore worlds the heart style changes, so learn both looks so you are not caught off guard.
- Pair the pack with a clean crosshair or hotbar pack only if you reorder them so Pixels Simple Hud stays on top.
