How to Fix Pixels Simple Hud Not Changing Your HUD

Confirm the Pack Is Actually Loaded

If your hearts, hunger, and armor icons still look vanilla, first check Options > Resource Packs. Pixels Simple Hud must appear in the selected column on the right, not the available column on the left. If it is not listed at all, the file is in the wrong folder or is still zipped in a way the game cannot read.

Resolve Pack Conflicts

Resource packs stack, and the pack highest in the selected list overrides the ones below it for any texture they share. If you run another HUD or UI pack alongside Pixels Simple Hud, one of them is winning the hearts, hunger, or armor textures. Drag Pixels Simple Hud to the top of the selected list and click Done to force it to take priority.

Check for Partial Overrides

Some packs only replace a single element, such as the hunger bar, while leaving hearts untouched. If only part of your HUD changed, that is expected behavior from a competing pack. Remove or disable the other pack, or reorder the list so Pixels Simple Hud sits above it. After any change, leave and re-enter the world or reload resources so the new textures apply cleanly. If nothing works, verify the pack file is not corrupted by re-adding a fresh copy.
