Expand Your Base Beyond the Castle Walls
Plan Your Expansion Layout
Decide which direction to expand—usually away from the castle's main entrance. Sketch out where you want new buildings: a workshop, additional storage, animal pens, or a larger farm. The open terrain around the fortress gives you plenty of room.
Establish Pathways
Create clear, lit paths connecting your new structures to the castle. Use a consistent block type (like stone or wood) so paths are easy to follow at night. Place torches every few blocks to prevent mob spawning and improve visibility.
Build Your First Outpost
Start small—a simple wooden or stone structure works well. Make it functional: a crafting area, furnace, and storage. This outpost serves as a secondary base when you're far from the castle gathering resources.
Connect and Defend
As you expand, build walls or fences around your new areas to keep mobs out. Link everything back to the castle with lit pathways. Gradually transform the landscape into your own pastel kingdom by adding more structures, farms, and decorative elements that match the castle's aesthetic.
