Marking Locations Without Specific Ping Types

Use the ping system to direct teammates to specific coordinates, bases, or gathering spots without needing a dedicated ping category.

Steps:

1. Look at the block or area where you want teammates to go

2. Hold TAB to open the ping wheel

3. Select a general or waypoint ping option

4. Release TAB

How Teammates Navigate

Your teammates receive:

• A marker at the exact location you pinged
• Distance information so they know how far to travel
• Your name and the ping type
• A persistent arrow on their HUD pointing toward the spot

Practical Uses

Use location pings to mark your base entrance, a safe meeting point during exploration, or a resource farm you've built. Pings work through walls and terrain, so teammates can navigate even in caves or dense forests. Multiple players can ping the same location to reinforce its importance, and markers fade after a time so your screen doesn't get cluttered with old information.
