Display Ping Next to Player Names

Enable Ping Display

The mod displays player ping automatically once installed. When you look at other players in your world or server, their ping (in milliseconds) will appear next to their nametag in the format you've configured.

Verify It's Working

Join a multiplayer server or world with other players. Look directly at another player from a reasonable distance. You should see their username with a ping value displayed nearby. If you don't see it:

• Ensure the mod is properly loaded (check your mods list in the main menu)
• Confirm you're in multiplayer mode—ping only displays for other players, not yourself
• Check that nametags are visible in your game settings (F1 to toggle HUD if needed)

The ping value updates in real-time as network conditions change, so you'll see fluctuations during gameplay. This helps you quickly assess whether a player has a stable or unstable connection during PvP encounters or collaborative tasks.
