Adjust Lighting and Environment for Better Pictures

Accessing Environment Settings

While in Picture Mode, look for environment or graphics adjustment options in the mod's interface. These let you control how your build is lit and what the surroundings look like.

Modifying Lighting

Adjust brightness, shadow intensity, and light direction to highlight your build's best features. Experiment with different times of day or custom lighting values to reduce harsh shadows or add drama. Some mods let you lock the sun position so it doesn't change while you frame your shot.

Changing Background and Atmosphere

Modify sky color, fog, or background elements to make your build stand out. A clear sky works well for detailed structures, while custom colors can create mood. Remove or adjust water and foliage rendering if they're cluttering your composition.

Testing Your Changes

Preview adjustments in real-time before taking the final screenshot. Once the lighting and atmosphere match your vision, capture the image.
