Understanding the Extended Pickup Range

With PickupWidely Mod active, you no longer need to stand directly on top of dropped items to collect them. The default horizontal expansion means items will automatically enter your inventory from up to two blocks away horizontally.

Mining Strategy

Use this to your advantage when mining:

• Mine in a line without stopping to position yourself over each drop
• Items will collect automatically as you move, even if you're slightly offset from the drop location
• This is especially useful when mining ore veins—continue breaking blocks while drops accumulate
• Works well in strip mining and branch mining patterns

Combining with Other Techniques

Pair this mod with a hopper system or item collection setup for even greater efficiency. The wider pickup radius means your collection points don't need to be perfectly aligned with where items fall, giving you more flexibility in base design.
