Adjust Your Pickup Range in the Config File
Locating the Config File
The PickupWidely Mod stores its settings in a configuration file within your Minecraft directory. Navigate to .minecraft/config/ and look for the PickupWidely config file (usually named something like pickupwidely.toml or similar).
Editing Pickup Distance
Open the config file with a text editor. You'll find settings for horizontal and vertical pickup range. The horizontal range controls how many blocks away (in the X and Z directions) you can pick up items. Modify these values to your preference:
- Increase the number to pick up items from farther away
- Decrease the number to make pickup more restrictive
- The vertical range setting controls pickup distance up and down (Y-axis)
Save the file after making changes. Reload your world or restart Minecraft for the new settings to take effect.
Testing Your Changes
Drop some items and walk around to verify the new pickup radius works as intended. Adjust further if needed by repeating these steps.
