Break Glass Blocks Efficiently with a Pickaxe

Basic Glass Mining

With this mod installed, pickaxes are now effective tools for mining glass blocks. Simply equip any pickaxe and left-click on glass blocks to break them. The pickaxe will mine glass significantly faster than breaking it by hand or with other tools.

Choosing the Right Pickaxe

Different pickaxe materials will have varying mining speeds:

• Wooden pickaxes will break glass, but slowly
• Stone pickaxes offer moderate speed
• Iron pickaxes are considerably faster
• Diamond pickaxes provide excellent mining speed
• Netherite pickaxes are the fastest option

For large glass-breaking projects, use the highest-tier pickaxe available to you. This will minimize time spent and reduce tool durability loss per block.

Preserving Glass Blocks

Note that pickaxes will still cause glass to drop as an item when mined. If you want to collect the glass blocks themselves rather than shards, ensure you're using the appropriate tool and technique for your situation.
