How to Read the Pick Up Notifier Log and Understand Stacked Entries

What Each Entry Shows

Every time you collect items, Pick Up Notifier adds an entry to the log in the corner of your screen. Each entry shows the item's sprite and the amount you picked up. When you pick up the same item again while its entry is still active, the mod does not create a duplicate line — it updates the existing entry and increases the count, so a single line can represent many separate pickups of the same item.

Why Entries Move and Disappear

Entries that are no longer current are treated as outdated. Instead of vanishing instantly, they slide out of the screen over a short animation, which is why you may see older lines drifting away while newer ones sit in place. New pickups push the list along, so the most recent items are the ones you should look at first.

Practical Uses

Use the log to confirm what you actually gathered after a mining trip, a mob fight, or emptying a chest — useful when your inventory is full and items may have been dropped or when several similar items (like different ore types) are involved. Because duplicate pickups merge into one line with a rising count, you can quickly tell how much of a single resource you collected without counting individual stacks. If the log feels too busy, reduce the display time so old entries clear faster, and reposition it if it covers other HUD elements.
