Set Up Discord Rich Presence for Your Minecraft Session

Enable the Mod

Once installed, the mod activates automatically when you launch Minecraft. Your Discord status will begin updating as soon as you join a world or server.

Connect Your Discord Account

Make sure Discord is running on your computer while playing Minecraft. Rich Presence requires an active Discord connection to display your status to friends. The mod communicates with Discord's local client—no authentication or account linking is needed beyond having Discord open.

Verify Status Display

Open your Discord profile or ask a friend to check your status. You should see "Playing Minecraft" appear in your profile when the game is active. If nothing displays, restart both Minecraft and Discord to refresh the connection.

Check Basic Information

By default, the mod shows minimal information—your game status and version. This works out of the box without any configuration needed. Friends viewing your profile will see you're playing Minecraft and can identify which version you're using.
