Before entering dangerous situations like caves or the Nether, check your armor's durability to ensure you're adequately protected. The mod displays exact durability for helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots in their tooltips.

Preparing for Dangerous Encounters

1. Open your inventory and hover over each piece of equipped armor

2. Note the durability of each piece shown in the tooltip

3. If any armor is heavily damaged, repair it at an anvil or swap it for a fresh set

4. For boss fights or extended exploration, prioritize wearing armor with high durability

5. Keep backup armor in your base for quick equipment changes

Low armor durability means reduced protection and increased risk of taking damage. By checking tooltips before combat, you can avoid entering fights with compromised gear. This is especially important for rare or enchanted armor that you want to preserve, as you can repair it before durability becomes critical.
