Configure Your Freelook Keybind

Finding the Controls Menu

Perspektive Mod allows you to assign any key as your freelook activation button.

To customize your keybind:

1. Open your Minecraft Controls settings (usually in Options → Controls)

2. Search for "Perspektive" or "Freelook" in the keybind list

3. Click on the current keybind entry

4. Press the key you want to use for activation

5. Confirm the change

Choosing an Effective Key

Consider which key works best for your playstyle:

• Mouse buttons (if your mouse supports them) are convenient for content creators
• Side keys like Z or X keep your hands near movement keys
• Modifier keys like Alt or Ctrl work well if you prefer less-used buttons
• Toggle vs. Hold: Some configurations allow the mode to toggle on/off, while others require holding the key

Test your chosen key in-game to ensure it doesn't conflict with other mods or gameplay mechanics.
