Set Up a Fallback Skin for Failed Loads

Access Mod Settings

Open your in-game mod configuration menu to find the Personalized Hero Charms settings.

Configure the Default Skin

1. Locate the Default Skin option

2. Enter a valid Minecraft Java username—this skin will display whenever a totem's name cannot be resolved or the account has no custom skin

3. Leave the field empty if you want to disable the fallback and use the standard totem texture instead

When This Matters

The fallback skin appears when:

• A username is misspelled or doesn't exist
• A player account has never set a custom skin
• The mod cannot download the texture for any reason

This keeps your totems looking intentional rather than broken. You can change the fallback skin anytime—existing totems will update automatically on next load.
