Set Up a Multiplayer Night Guard Roleplay Session
Preparing the World
Before starting, ensure all players have loaded into the same world. Designate one player as the primary night guard (or rotate the role) who will monitor cameras and make decisions. Other players can act as support staff or take turns in the security office.
Establishing Roleplay Rules
Decide on your group's horror intensity:
- Casual mode: Walk around freely, take photos, enjoy the decorations
- Survival mode: One player monitors cameras while others explore hallways; those in hallways must report back regularly
- Hide-and-seek variant: One player guards the office while others hide throughout the pizzeria
Running a Session
Start in the security office and assign exploration teams. Teams should:
1. Check camera feeds before entering new areas
2. Stay in communication (use chat or voice)
3. Report discoveries back to the office
4. Return periodically to regroup
Create tension by having the security officer control lighting, announce camera malfunctions, or describe what they see on monitors. Encourage players to narrate their experience and react to the atmosphere.
Ending the Session
Return to the security office as a group and share stories about what scared you most.
