Throw Pebbles as Weapons and Projectiles
Basic Throwing Mechanics
Hold a pebble in your hand and right-click to throw it. The pebble travels as a projectile and deals damage on impact with mobs or players. You can throw any stone type—Andesite, Stone, Deepslate, End Stone, and others all function identically as weapons.
Combat Applications
Use pebbles for ranged damage when you lack a bow or arrows. They're particularly useful early-game when resources are limited. Throw multiple pebbles in succession by right-clicking repeatedly. Pebbles work well for knocking back mobs or testing mob positions from a distance.
Gathering Pebbles for Combat
Collect pebbles from your biome's natural generation, or craft them from stone blocks. Keep a stack in your inventory during exploration. Since pebbles are stackable and craftable, you won't run out if you have access to stone.
Limitations
Pebbles are slower and less efficient than arrows, so they're best used as a supplement rather than a primary weapon. They don't benefit from enchantments like bows do, making them less viable for late-game combat.
