Prepare Your Base Before a Peaceful Moon Night

Pre-Event Setup

While the Peaceful Moon stops new hostile mobs from spawning, any mobs already nearby will still pose a threat. Prepare your base strategically:

1. Clear the area around your base of existing hostile mobs before activating the event

2. Light up your surroundings with torches or lanterns—this prevents spawning anyway, but ensures visibility

3. Close doors and gates to your base to contain any mobs that were already present

4. Stock supplies in accessible chests so you can build or explore without returning to storage

Making the Most of Your Night

With hostile spawning disabled, you can:

• Build exterior structures, farms, or decorations without interruption
• Explore caves and mining areas with reduced danger
• Travel long distances to gather specific resources
• Work on large construction projects that require focus

Remember: the Peaceful Moon only lasts one night. Plan your activities accordingly so you can accomplish your goals before dawn breaks and normal spawning resumes.
