Troubleshoot Input Issues When Using Multiple Controllers
Verify Controller Connection
Ensure both controllers are properly connected to your computer and recognized by the operating system. Check your system's device manager or controller settings to confirm both devices are active and not in conflict.
Test Input in Each Window
Click on one game window to focus it, then test movement and action keys with the assigned controller. Switch focus to the other window and repeat. If one controller isn't responding, try reconnecting it or restarting both game instances.
Controller Mapping Issues
If inputs are being sent to the wrong window, ensure each controller is properly bound to its respective game instance. Some controllers may require configuration through your operating system's input settings before launching Minecraft.
Performance and Lag
If controller input feels delayed or unresponsive, this may indicate performance strain from running two instances. Close unnecessary background applications, lower graphics settings, or reduce render distance in both games to free up system resources and improve input responsiveness.
