Build and Use a Barrel for Aging Brews
Constructing Your Barrel
Barrels are built using wooden planks and slabs. Different wood types—oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, and others—produce different aging effects on your brews. Stack and arrange wood blocks according to the barrel structure to create a hollow container.
Aging Your Brew
1. Pour your finished cauldron brew into the barrel using a bottle.
2. The brew will age over time inside the barrel. Aging improves quality and can enhance effects and appearance.
3. Different wood types age brews differently, affecting flavor profile and potency.
4. Check your brew periodically by collecting a sample with a bottle.
5. When satisfied with the quality, extract the aged brew.
Quality Matters
Higher-quality brews display enhanced visual effects, particles, and animations when consumed. Experiment with different wood types to discover which produces the best results for your favorite drinks.
