Bosses and dangerous mobs present unique challenges when attempting to pet them. Success requires careful planning and positioning.

Pre-Fight Preparation

2. Carry healing items in case the mob attacks during or after petting

3. Scout the arena to identify escape routes and safe zones

4. Bring a weapon for emergency defense

Petting Strategy

• Use terrain advantages like pillars or water to create distance
• Pet quickly and retreat immediately; don't linger after the animation
• Avoid petting during phase transitions when bosses are most aggressive
