Create a Basic Particle Circle

Setting Up Your Circle

Particle Animation Lib allows you to form 2D shapes using vanilla particles. A circle is one of the simplest 2D animations to create.

Steps

1. Use the Particle Animation Lib Commands mod (or relevant command structure) to access particle shape tools

2. Select the circle shape option from available 2D shapes

3. Specify your particle type (redstone, flame, smoke, etc.)

4. Set the radius of your circle in blocks

5. Choose a center location where the circle will spawn

6. Adjust the density if needed—more particles create a fuller circle, fewer create a ring effect

7. Execute the command to spawn your circle

Tips

Circles work well for magical effects, portals, or decorative animations. Combine multiple circles at different heights for a spiral or vortex effect. Experiment with different particle types to match your desired aesthetic—flame particles create fire rings, while redstone particles work for magical circles.
