Combine Multiple Shapes for Complex Animations
Layering Shapes
Particle Animation Lib's true power emerges when combining 2D and 3D shapes. You can stack circles, spheres, lines, and cones to create sophisticated visual effects.
Steps
1. Plan your design—sketch how shapes will overlap or stack
2. Create your first shape using the appropriate command
3. Note the coordinates and particle type used
4. Create additional shapes at the same or nearby coordinates
5. Use different particle types for each layer to add visual depth
6. Vary the density of each shape to control transparency and visibility
7. Test the combined effect and adjust spacing or particle counts as needed
Design Ideas
Combine a sphere with a cone for a magical explosion. Stack circles vertically to create a tornado. Mix lines with spheres for geometric patterns. Experiment with timing if the mod supports animation sequences—particles can fade in and out for pulsing effects. Different particle colors and behaviors create unique atmospheres for builds, dungeons, or special events.
