Use Partial Hearts with Resource Packs

Understand Compatibility

Partial Hearts Mod works alongside resource packs to customize your health bar appearance. Your resource pack controls the heart textures themselves, while Partial Hearts controls how those textures break apart.

Install Your Resource Pack

Add your chosen resource pack to your resource packs folder as you normally would. Load it in your game settings. The mod will automatically detect and use the custom heart textures from your pack.

Verify Heart Display

Load into a world and check your health bar. You should see your resource pack's custom heart design, now displayed with fractional precision instead of half-hearts. The pixel removal pattern will work with whatever texture your pack provides.

Combine with Colorful Hearts Mod

If you're using the Colorful Hearts mod alongside Partial Hearts, you can have both colored hearts and fractional health display. The mods work together to give you precise health information with custom visuals.

Test Different Packs

Try swapping resource packs to see how different heart designs look with fractional depletion. Some packs may have more detailed textures that look especially good with pixel-by-pixel removal.
