How to Improve Your Speedrun Time
Learn the Level Layout First
Before attempting a speedrun, complete each level several times in casual mode. Memorize where the jumps are and which direction you need to go. Knowing the path by heart is the foundation of a fast run.
Optimize Your Jump Timing
Once you know the layout, focus on jumping at the exact moment you land on each block. Minimize the time spent standing still. The faster you input your next jump after landing, the faster your overall time.
Use Sprint Jumping Consistently
Maintain sprint mode throughout the level whenever possible. Sprint jumping covers more distance per jump, reducing the total number of jumps needed. This is one of the biggest time-savers.
Practice Problem Sections Separately
Identify which jumps slow you down the most. Practice just those sections repeatedly until they feel automatic. Then run the full level. Breaking it into chunks helps you improve faster than grinding the entire level each time.
Record Your Best Times
Keep track of your personal best for each level. This gives you a target to beat and helps you stay motivated as you refine your technique.
